A Robotics Research Platform for CS Bachelor Students
Autonomous Systems Engineering (ASE) is the name of a new research platform for students of Computer Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. It features a custom built rover that drives autonomously with an accompanying modular software framework that allows students to easily plug in their own programs written in a language of their choice. The possible student projects with such a platform sit at the intersection of a number of different subjects taught during the bachelor making it a fitting final project for motivated students.
